Ingleby House can offer parking in the lower bay area on Fisherhead Carpark
Fisherhead Carpark is a permit only carpark managed by The Old School House.

Ingleby House has two designated space at Fisherhead. If you'd like to reserve a space please let us know at the time of your booking at a rate of £10 per night.

Our parking ramp accommodates two average size cars. Should Ingleby guests park elsewhere on Fisherhead Car Park a parking ticket may be issued. Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee that this charge can be cancelled.

Please note that our designated parking space is limited in size, so we're unable to accommodate large Land Rover or Range Rover sized vehicles. Please contact Dave at The Old School House who runs Fisherhead Carpark to reserve your space if this applies to your vehicle. Two Pay & Display car parks exist at the top of the bank, these are free to use during winter months. Permits for stays over a 24 hour period are available from the Post Office at the top of the Bank. 

Directions to Fisherhead Carpark​

Drive down the bank into the lower part of the village past the Laurel Inn on the left and the Muir Lea Stores on the right after which you turn right after the bridge and at the bend through the gate, continue up the hill and into the parking area.

​Drive to the back of the parking area where you will see a concrete ramp, drive up the ramp and then park either to the left or right allowing enough room for another vehicle on the other side. ​

Unloading on Arrival

​You are welcome to drive to the house, unload and then drive your car to the parking space.

​Please note that sometimes it can get very busy in the village so please be prepared for this if driving down to the house.
